Whales, Dolphins Are Collateral Damage In Our Taste For Seafood

“Hundreds of thousands of marine mammals are injured or killed every year by fishermen around the world. And because most seafood in the U.S. is imported, that means our fish isn’t as dolphin-friendly as you might expect.

Under pressure from conservation groups, federal regulators are preparing to tighten import standards to better protect marine mammals.”

I don’t usually post the damage we do to our world, but as a sportsman (fishing catch & release) I just get instantly pissed off when I see this sort of thing.  If YOU don’t, you should.  I’m 60 yoa and I’ve seen such a disregard for our oceans and sea-life that I’m glad I won’t live very many more years.  You with young ones I pity because my generation has left you kids with a shit storm of problems all in the name of “profit”.
